Jahren hat die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deutschebahn.com\/resource\/blob\/6859508\/f9754eb25ebbed20ea68b4e1ff7dfbfe\/MP-Bauen-Faktenblatt-SFS-Mannheim-Stuttgart-data.pdf\">Schnellfahrstrecke Mannheim-Stuttgart <\/a>eine Schl\u00fcsselrolle im deutschen Bahnverkehr gespielt. Als eine der ersten Hochgeschwindigkeitsverbindungen der Bundesrepublik hat sie den Weg in ein neues Zeitalter des Zugverkehrs geebnet. Doch die Zeit hinterl\u00e4sst ihre Spuren und angesichts der enormen Belastung der tags\u00fcber j\u00e4hrlich 68.000 Fernverkehrsz\u00fcge sowie G\u00fcterz\u00fcge in den Nachtstunden, war eine umfassende Sanierung der Strecke dringend erforderlich. Die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deutschebahn.com\/de\">Deutsche Bahn<\/a> hat daher beschlossen, die Strecke Mannheim-Stuttgart ab 2020 einer grundlegenden Erneuerung zu unterziehen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-dbec-core-layout-column  column is-6-small is-6-medium column--expanded\"><div class=\"layout-column\">\n<p>Das ehrgeizige Bauprojekt erstreckte sich \u00fcber 205 Tage und erforderte von April bis Oktober 2020 eine Totalsperrung des Abschnitts. In diesem Zeitraum wurden Gleise, Weichen und Technik einem gr\u00fcndlichen Update unterzogen. Die Dimensionen der Bauma\u00dfnahmen sind beeindruckend: Auf einer Streckenl\u00e4nge von 99 Kilometern wurden rund 190 Kilometer Gleis und 54 Weichen erneuert, w\u00e4hrend 300.000 Schwellen und 440.000 Tonnen Schotter verbaut wurden. Die Sanierung umfasst auch die Modernisierung der <a href=\"https:\/\/db-engineering-consulting.com\/de\/produktportfolio\/planung\/#planung-ausruestungstechnik\">Leit- und Sicherungstechnik<\/a> sowie den Bau von L\u00e4rmschutzw\u00e4nden, um den Komfort f\u00fcr Anwohner zu verbessern und Beeintr\u00e4chtigungen zu minimieren. Parallel dazu wurden umfangreiche Instandhaltungsma\u00dfnahmen durchgef\u00fchrt, wie etwa die Tiefentw\u00e4sserung und Inspektion der Oberleitungsanlagen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-dbec-core-layout-column  column is-6-small is-3-medium column--expanded\"><div class=\"layout-column\">\n<p>Aufgrund der logistischen Herausforderung, die zahlreichen Baustoffe \u00fcber Stra\u00dfen zu transportieren, mussten die beiden Streckengleise w\u00e4hrend der Bauzeit gesperrt werden. Dies stellte eine enorme Herausforderung dar und erschwerte die Ver- und Entsorgung der Baustelle mit Gro\u00dfmaschinentechnik, Material und anderen Stoffen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Schnellfahrstrecke Mannheim-Stuttgart ist nicht nur eine wichtige nationale Verbindung, sondern auch Teil des <a href=\"https:\/\/bmdv.bund.de\/SharedDocs\/DE\/Artikel\/G\/transeuropaeische-verkehrsnetze.html\">Transeurop\u00e4ischen Verkehrsnetzes<\/a> und der Nord-S\u00fcd Schnellfahrstrecke.
