Bereits 1955 wurde zum Schutz des witterungsanf\u00e4lligen Sandsteins ein Betonmantel aufgebracht, dessen Schutzschicht nach fast 60 Jahren ihre Funktion verloren hatte. Die Pr\u00fcfung mehrerer Varianten, den Viadukt zu sanieren und in seiner Form zu erhalten, ergab, dass dies nicht m\u00f6glich ist. Daher wurde der Viadukt durch eine neue Br\u00fccke ersetzt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beim R\u00fcckbau des alten Viadukts blieben die Widerlager der Gew\u00f6lbebr\u00fccke erhalten. Hinter den Widerlagern wurde zur Wiederherstellung der Tragf\u00e4higkeit mittels u-f\u00f6rmiger Tiefengr\u00fcndung, bestehend aus Bohrpf\u00e4hlen, ein Rahmen realisiert. Dieser Rahmen bildet die Auflagefl\u00e4che f\u00fcr die neue Auflagerkonstruktion der Bogenbr\u00fccke. Die Bogenbr\u00fccke wurde auf einem Trageger\u00fcst vormontiert und darauf eingeschoben. Der bestellte Stabbogen wurde als rahmenversteiftes Bogentragwerk konzipiert. Den zentralen Bereich bildet ein Stabbogen mit an Flachstahlh\u00e4ngern aufgeh\u00e4ngter Fahrbahn. Der Bogen durchdringt die Versteifungstr\u00e4ger und bildet mit ihm und den nach unten verl\u00e4ngerten Bogenstielen ein zus\u00e4tzlich tragendes Rahmensystem. Die vorhandenen Widerlager wurden nur teilweise abgebrochen und erhielten Auflagerelemente aus Stahlbeton f\u00fcr den oberen Abschluss und wurden luftseitig komplett mit einer Betonvorsatzschale versehen.
