DB Rail Academy celebrates new partnership with Asian Rail Academy (ARA)
On May 4th DB Rail Academy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Asian Rail Academy (ARA) to deliver training programmes for the rail industry in Malaysia & Asian region.
Based on an expedited growth, ARA aspires to be human capital solution provider in the local rail industry in Malaysia and Asia region.
“We selected Asian Rail Academy as our partner to represent us in the Malaysian market, because of its strategic local network and its extensive knowledge about rail industry needs,” Mr Heiko Scholz, Director Global Rail Academies at Deutsche Bahn’s subsidiary DB Engineering & Consulting, Germany said.
Within the framework of the signed MOU, a consensus in collaborative initiatives to undertake roles complementing one another in establishing rail training programmes in Malaysia was enacted.
“Looking at the increasing demand for human capital following rapid growth of the rail industry in Malaysia and the region, it is important to see training demands in the rail industry being met with increased range of professional training courses provided by world-class organizations such as DB Rail Academy in Germany” Mr Thiagaraja, CEO of the Asian Rail Academy said.
Due to offer training facilities, tools and materials for training execution on the part of ARA, DB Rail Academy will develop training programmes in accordance with Malaysia rail industry needs and demand, including administrative and organization support, too.
As a result, both partners will utilize its experience and expertise for a continuous growing, a further development and a good relationship.
